Who We Are and What We Do
Our Work
Since our launch in 2000, The Rufina Children’s Foundation has been working hard to promote our causes. While there is always more that can be done to help those in need in our community, there’s no doubt that we are making a significant impact. See how you can become part of the difference.
We Are For The Children
Charitable Giving
As a trusted charitable organization founded in 2000, we provide assistance to the people who need it the most in the San Francisco area. Want to help? Contact us to see what you can do to make a difference in the community you live in. Every little bit of help is needed and appreciated.

We Help The People
In over 100 countries, we support children to transform their lives. We've been working for a fairer world for a century. Discover the values, history and people that make us who we are.

Everyone has the right to live and a right to be what they dream to become. Everyone should have good food to fuel their imagination, good shelter and medicine when they're sick.
For over 100 years, we've fought for a fairer world for people.
Together with families, supporters and partners, we work to help everyone become who they want to be.
In Britain, we’re using apps to help parents support early learning. In Rwanda, we’ve kickstarted a reading revolution. With GSK, we’ve developed an antiseptic gel that could save half a million babies' lives.
ABOUT US
1 Make someone's day by assisting them.
Last year, 63 percent of individuals in the UK assisted a stranger, according to the World Giving Index 2018. Why not continue the trend by holding a door open, giving up your train seat, or simply smiling for someone you don't know?
2 Teach your children the value of giving.
Talk to your children about the value of contributing to get them interested. Giving unused toys to those in need, smiling at someone on the street, holding doors open for strangers, or visiting a sick relative are all examples of generosity.
3 Donate blankets, gloves, and coats, among other items.
Consider those who are homeless or living in temporary housing. Donate to a homeless charity near you using our charity search.
4 Be a hero in a bobble hat.
Encourage your children to wear their favorite bobble hat to school to collect money for other young people.
5 Encourage the use of a toy box
Because not every child has toys or games, donating an extra toy to a gift box program like KidsOut can help put a smile on someone's face.
